2. Complete the Application Form

Fill out the form accurately using black ink and capital letters

Do not leave any sections blank; write “N/A” if a section does not apply to you

3. Gather Required Documents
Attach certified copies of:

Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the SAPS 2025 recruitment, applicants must:

Be a South African citizen

Be between 18 and 35 years old

Possess a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification

Have no visible tattoos when wearing the SAPS uniform

Panel Interview Successful candidates will then be enrolled in the Basic Police Development Learning Programme (BPDLP), which includes:

1 month of induction at a designated police station

8 months of basic training at a SAPS academy

12 months of probation phase with workplace exposure at a police station or unit
