Requirements :

: A relevant qualification in nursing and currently registered with SANC as Nursing Assistant (Auxiliary Nurse). Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Patients’ rights charter and other prescripts related to scope of work. Good communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and work as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and supervise the activities of junior personnel.

Duties :

: Promote and provide quality nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards. Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure proper nursing care. Display concern for patients, promoting and advocating proper care including awareness and willingness to respond to patient’s needs, requirements and expectations. Maintain professional growth, ethical standards and self-development.
