Kearsney College, a leading independent boys’ high school located midway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, requires the services of a candidate to join our academic staff from the start of 2023.
Teacher: English Home Language
(Grades 8 to 12)
The incumbent will be suitably qualified and have experience in teaching English from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Excellent administration skills are crucial, and the applicant must be aware of trends and the latest teaching methods and assessment practices. Performance dimensions critical to this position will include innovation, maintaining excellence within the English Department as well as building positive relationships with pupils and peers. Successful use of technology in the classroom will be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must be prepared to be involved in our extensive extra-mural programme and to perform supervisory duties in the boarding establishment.
