Requirements :

Grade 12, experience or exposure in Supply Chain will be an added advantage. Good conflict management and problem solving skills and communication skills both verbal and written. Must also be competent in the numeric and computer literacy. Applicants might be required to do a practical test (using a calculator). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Duties :

Compile and cost the institutions demand plan and procurement plan. Use the Central Supplier Database to acquire suitable suppliers for the requested items. Capture requisitions for the creation of Purchase Orders. Follow-Up on deliveries. Posting of all the received and issued stock on the VA10 and VA11 bin cards and excel spreadsheet. Compiling of monthly theoretical stock movement reports. Calculating of the maximum and minimum stock levels for the new financial year. Always ensure availability of stock. Compile and cost the institutions demand plan and procurement plan. Barcoding and allocating of new assets. Movement of assets in different areas. Capturing of goods received voucher (GRV), Clearing the Web cycle and liaising with suppliers. Updating of monthly acquisition spreadsheet. Partake in stocktaking twice a year. Execute and lawful instructions tasked by the supervisor or delegated authority.
