Requirements :
Grade 12/ Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Social Work. Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Worker. Valid drivers’ license. Computer literacy, report writing, good verbal and communication as well as interpersonal skills. Ability to work, communicate with people well and work independently and in team. Ability to work under pressure. Basic understanding of relevant legislation that governs CFM. Added advantage: Experience in Clinical & Gender Based Violence
Duties :
Render health social worker services with regards to psychosocial support, protection and development of vulnerable individuals, groups, family’s protection and development of vulnerable individuals, groups, families, and communities through the CFM program. Be able to conduct .assessment, intervene, implement, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of the recommended interventions. Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team and participate in stakeholder’s meetings. Generate weekly and monthly statistics, reports and attend relevant meetings. Be prepared to testify in court for GBV patients when necessary and communities through the CFM program.
