Salary Packages:
- CB1-1: R212 358 per annum
- CB1-2: R257 895 per annum
- CB1-3: R313 521 per annum
Main Duties:
- Perform access control inside the correctional centre
- Control inmate movement
- Guard inmates internally and externally
- Conduct physical security inspections
- Control stores and security equipment
- Manage security control room
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
2. Case Officers – 107 Posts
Reference No: FSNC 2026/04/27
Salary Packages:
- CB1-1: R212 358 per annum
- CB1-2: R257 895 per annum
- CB1-3: R313 521 per annum
Main Duties:
- Manage offender sentence plans
- Update offender records and reports
- Handle parole and correctional supervision documents
- File and control confidential documents
- Verify offender information
- Ensure secure movement of offenders
- Maintain accurate case administration systems
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Successful completion of the Correctional Science Learnership / Basic Training
Experience Needed:
- CB1-1: No experience required
- CB1-2: 10 years experience on CB1-1
- CB1-3: 10 years experience on CB1-2
Skills Needed:
- Computer literacy
- Good communication skills
- Report writing skills
- Firearm competency
- Knowledge of correctional centre procedures
