Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be proficient in English and at least one other official language.
- Have ABET Level 4, Grade 9 or Standard 7 (NQF Level 1) recognised by SAQA.
- Be able to read and write.
- Have basic communication and numeracy skills.
- Understand cleaning detergents and Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
- Be willing to work extended hours when required.
- Be able to work well with others and operate basic cleaning equipment.
Duties
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Cleaning SAPS offices and surrounding premises.
- Dusting, polishing furniture and floors.
- Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors.
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
- Removing refuse.
- Washing kitchenware and utensils.
- Washing government vehicles.
- Assisting with loading and unloading goods.
- Garden maintenance.
- Safe handling of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment.
Salary
Successful applicants will receive a salary of:
R144,024 per annum (Level 2)
