Salary
Successful candidates will be appointed on the following salary scales:
Grade 1 (PN-B1)
- R495,423 – R581,931 per annum
- Plus government benefits
Grade 2 (PN-B2)
- R607,350 – R752,913 per annum

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Basic R425 qualification (Diploma or Degree in Nursing)
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
- A one-year Post Basic Diploma in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment and Care (R48) accredited by SANC
Experience Requirements
Grade 1
Applicants must have:
- At least 4 years of appropriate nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse.
Grade 2
Applicants must have:
- At least 14 years of nursing experience
- At least 10 years of experience after obtaining the Primary Health Care qualification

Key Duties
Successful candidates will:
- Provide comprehensive Primary Health Care services
- Diagnose and treat patients
- Promote disease prevention and health education
- Supervise nursing staff
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collect and report health data
- Work with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Support community health programmes
- Provide services across Sub-Districts 5, 6 and 7 when required
