Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Grade 10 / Standard 8 / NCV Level 2
- South African citizenship
- Valid PSIRA Registration
- Grade C Security Certificate or higher
- Be medically fit to possess a firearm
- Be willing to undergo firearm competency training
- Be willing to work shifts and extended hours
- A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
Main Duties
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Control access at SAPS premises
- Verify visitors and contractors
- Patrol buildings and government facilities
- Guard vehicles and equipment
- Monitor security systems
- Maintain visitor registers
- Report security incidents
- Protect government property and personnel.
Salary
Successful applicants will earn:
R170 226 per annum (Level 03)
