Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Grade 10–12 (Matric preferred)
• Basic cleaning or safety training (advantageous)
• 1–2 years’ experience in industrial, agricultural, or logistics cleaning
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work
• Knowledge of workplace safety and housekeeping procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Cleaning workshops, loading areas, offices, stores, and ablution facilities
• Removing mud, dust, cane residue, oil spills, and other debris
• Maintaining clean walkways and work areas
• Collecting and disposing of waste correctly
• Supporting recycling and waste management activities
• Reporting hazards, spills, and unsafe conditions
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintaining cleaning equipment
• Completing housekeeping records and daily cleaning checklists
• Assisting with health and safety compliance
