Programme Highlights

Requirements

Age: 18–28 years old

Education: Matric (Grade 12) preferred; minimum Grade 10 accepted in some cases

Employment Status: Must not have been employed permanently with a single employer for more than 1 year

Study Status: Must not be enrolled in full-time studies during the programme (April 2025 – March 2026)

Previous Participation: Must not have previously participated in or been registered on the YES Programme

Logistics: Applicants are responsible for their own accommodation and transportation, if applicable

Equity: Preference given to candidates from designated groups per South Africa’s Employment Equity Act
Duties

Assist with day-to-day store operations, including stock management and customer service

Create enjoyable shopping experiences for customers

Participate in workplace readiness training via mobile platforms
