About the Crocs Seasonal Sales Assistant Position

The successful candidate will join the Crocs Woodmead retail team and assist customers while supporting the day-to-day operation of the store.

The position involves customer service, sales, stock handling, merchandising and general store operations.

Crocs places emphasis on teamwork, maintaining a positive attitude and supporting the wellbeing of employees.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• At least 1 year of customer service experience will be added to advantage
• Crocs product knowledge is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible shifts

Candidates should also be comfortable working directly with customers and operating in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

The Seasonal Sales Assistant will be expected to welcome and acknowledge customers, identify their needs and recommend appropriate products.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, demonstrating product benefits, completing sales and encouraging additional purchases.

Employees are also expected to monitor their individual sales performance against their allocated targets.

Stock & Inventory

The successful candidate may be responsible for:

• Replenishing footwear, apparel and accessories
• Helping minimise stock losses
• Ensuring stock information on the POS system is accurate
• Receiving and processing deliveries
• Checking delivered quantities
• Tagging, hanging and pricing products
• Processing customer orders

Daily Store Operations

The role also includes helping maintain a clean and organised store.

Tasks may include dusting, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming, emptying bins, keeping the counter area tidy and maintaining changing rooms.

The Sales Assistant may also help the store manager with opening and closing procedures.

Merchandising

Employees will help ensure products are presented according to Crocs standards.

This includes replenishing sizes, maintaining displays, assisting with window and mannequin changes and ensuring promotional materials are stored correctly to prevent damage.

Training & Development

Crocs provides opportunities for employees to develop their retail skills.

The position includes ongoing training, feedback from management and assessments. Employees are expected to take responsibility for completing their required training and development activities.
